Sports Interactive have announced a delay in the much anticipated update to Football Manager Live. According to the most recent developer diary blog post, game worlds should be receiving new code for version 1.3 on: Wednesday, October 7 Several reasons for the pushed back date were due to minor problems reported by the beta testing team in regards to coaching reports, player progression and wage demands. In addition, the FML development team is eagerly waiting for the final version of the new match engine to be delivered – the FM10 developers are still polishing it up for release into both products. In the most recent development diary entry, Marc Duffy gives us an update on the final testing run of the 1.3 code. So far, there have been no major issues reported by the company’s QA department and it looks apparent that they’ll be able to meet the tentatively announced release date of Wednesday, September 30. Sports Interactive is also eagerly anticipating the “new” FML match engine which will be available to the team come next week – this means that the 1.3 ME will more or less be in sync with the first release of FM2010. On the newest installment of the official development diaries, Marc Duffy gives an update to the Football Manager Live community about the pending release of 1.3. The dev team currently is in the process of handing this version off to SEGA to begin the final testing process of the code. If everything goes according to plan, the update should take effect on: Wednesday, September 30.
