[...] Chance (Luck) isn’t exactly a resource in the same sense as other resources. Resource based game theory is more about the ability to identify good and bad fortune (luck) and adjust your resource management decisions accordingly. However, I think for the sake of simplicity and making key points, we can think of ‘luck’ as a resource because so many other resources are gained and spent with the impact they will have on your ‘luck’ factored into the decision. If you make a decision that reduces your ‘luck’ (i.e. making all your substitutions at half time), you can also think of this as ’spending’ your ‘luck’ resource. Just the same as if you don’t make any decisions you are in fact ‘preserving’ your ‘luck’ resource. [...]

I also forgot to mention a little fact - no matter what changes are made, always the same guys end up in the top and the gaps between teams always grow into same amount as they were before the changes.

I must agree with what is said in there. Whining isn't gonna lead anywhere, you are responsible for your own luck in this game and the more you whine, the more annoying it gets to you and you are making no progress.

All the top guns are there for a reason, because they know how to work with the game, how to manage off the pitch aswell as on it. They know how to pick the right players, they know when they need to change something and why they don't, they feel the game.

I agree on you about the analyze game stuff... it is never going to lead anywhere. FML is a simple game and you need to be simple when playing, as soon as you get complicated and try to be smart (like you could be in FM maybe, but not againist real managers in a game like FML), you are bound to run into problems.
