This week Marc Duffy updated the State of the gameworlds thread to alert the forum faithful about a delay to the big announcement previously scheduled for this Monday.
“We have an update for you all:
Unfortunately we are going to have to delay Monday’s announcement about the future of Football Manager Live until later on in the week. The plans are all in place and the announcements have been written and we’ve even been hard at work on some of the new developments that you’ll read about. However, after coming back from a series of engagements this week, Miles has asked that we get some extra points of view on the announcements from other areas of the company before we go live.
We’re very much committed to getting these announcements to you as soon as possible and apologise for the slight delay.” Marc Duffy – post #72
Instead of creating a fresh bout of speculation this latest delay in the communication of the plans for the future has been met with a sense of resignation both on the forums and inside the game worlds.
Does this latest delay mean changes to the initial plan announced to the FML Council?
Are there concerns the plan goes too far, or not far enough?
The biggest concern from many now is the time it takes to deliver. If it takes this long to announce a plan for the future, how long will it take to implement the changes?
