I think it's a lot better, certainly tests depth of squad. My best striker missed a few games in the last stage in beta and with every game being a 'six pointer' did mean I missed out on the title.

The youth I had playing wasn't really a commanding presence at that level.

I was holding off writing up these injuries changes until they were effectively locked in, but they are fairly close now – and i've compiled all the info ready for the Manual so expect a full explanation on GW1 in the near fuuture.

In regards this article, one interesting feature of the new injury system is it won't effect Youth Players – as long as they only play in youth matches !
Which adds a risk element to playing youth who may not be ready in senior matches – as any injuries may now detract from their overall progression (something that isn't at risk by keeping them in youth comps).

As with all these changes it will require slight shifts in strategy to best utilise/cope with them – but this one is definitely a major improvement overthe current system.

Clarification: – You mentioned above this may be relevant to Super FA matches, that is not the case.
At present it's likely to be exclusively Domestic FA League and 2 Cups – and UFFA matches.
