I find 'strength' to be important when defending against it, and set my strongest players to mark tall with good results. Also find a fast player set to close down stops the monotonous accuracy of the corner taker. I think better reactions from the GK (punching more) are being worked on for the latest ME, and some small hope a 'Defend GK' option may be added to defensive instructions.
